Leave your purse, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Take only the money you anticipate to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you expect to burn and keep the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well have a profit after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be lucky sufficiently to hit a marathon toss at a smokin craps game.
