Learning From My Gambling Blunders

First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the internet or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to be aware of your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel queasy in your belly and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.

When you notice that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this method almost never ever works. Say you are betting on slot games, have an amount set to the side prior to beginning your action. Don’t exceed that boundary, regardless how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a different canister. Do not spend your profits no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Head out, whether it is on the net or at a land based casino, don’t stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Remember, betting is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the cost, don’t even begin.
